The 22nd National Coffee and Cocoa Convention approaches
On May 30 and 31 the 22nd National Convention on Coffee and Cocoa will be held, the technical event that presents the issues, news and trends in the sector. In addition to summoning leaders, authorities and specialized press. This year the main focus of the convention will be the Opportunities in Crisis Environments.
The production and export of coffee and cocoa is constantly increasing. It is in this sense that the main objective of the 22nd National Coffee and Cacao Convention, to be held on May 30 and 31, will analyze and discuss the main technical and commercial problems of the chain, as well as expose trends and opportunities in the sector . Under this scenario, talks will be given on opportunities in crisis environments that will be segmented into 6 main points:
1) Barriers to tariffs: regulation and impact
2) Local consumption: situation and perspectives
3) Products and services to support the chain
4) The new Sustainability model
5) The chain in figures: the value of the information
6) Experiences of productivity improvements in Latin America
The exhibitions will be in charge of recognized experts and institutions in the sector such as:

- Michelle Deugd - Director of Sector and Landscape Transformation for the Rainforest Alliance

We will have industry leaders, specialized press, students, chamber members, individual producers and guilds, sector authorities, suppliers, buyers and international cooperators.
Also, during the event, awards will be held to the winners of the Second Edition of the Cafeteria Contest of Lima - Experience.
